Access Institute for Psychological Services

“Communities hit hardest by the pandemic and its aftermath are statistically the least likely to receive quality mental health care,” says Suzanne Romaine of San Francisco’s nonprofit Access Institute for Psychological Services. In her role as Director of Development, she advocates for those struggling with mental illness in the Bay Area, ensuring comprehensive, holistic treatment remains affordable and accessible to everyone—from kids and teenagers to couples and seniors. Romaine notes, “We’re inspired by people who put empathy into action by donating their time or money to the well-being of our community. The need only continues to grow.”

"Our caring network provides a safety net for the most vulnerable and impacted during these challenging times."
