Salesian Boys & Girls Club

Youth without access to constructive after-school activities are the raison d’etre for Randal DeMartini, executive director of Salesian Boys and Girls Club, a non-profit enrichment program for youth that has been providing kids in the Bay Area with a safe and fun place to go after the school bell rings for over a century. The beautiful North Beach facility, with services ranging from athletics and arts to tutoring and summer camps, is a haven for kids ages 8 to 18. “I had an early calling to work with young people and haven’t looked back,” says DeMartini, who joined the club’s staff as a teenager in 1979. Today, he proudly leads the beloved organization in one goal: giving kids the love and guidance they need to succeed in life.

"We provide a safe place for our members to have transformational experiences that help them learn, grow, and thrive."
