Salesian Boys & Girls Club
Youth without access to constructive after-school activities are the raison d’être for Randal DeMartini, executive director of Salesian Boys and Girls Club, a San Francisco non-profit that provides kids with a safe and fun place to go after the school bell rings. The beautiful facility in North Beach is a haven for kids ages 8 to 18. “I had an early calling to work with young people and haven’t looked back,” says DeMartini, who joined the club’s staff as a teen-ager in 1979. Forty years later, he proudly leads the century-old organization with one goal: giving kids the love and guidance they need to succeed in life.
"A structured foundation for today’s youth leads to a brighter future for the world of tomorrow."
